I usually don’t care to much about news stories from other countries, but this story out of Rome just cracked me up.  Apparently The parking chief for the city of Rome was caught Friday night parking in a tow-away zone while he went into a local restaurant to grab a bite to eat.  What makes this story even more ridiculous is that he was using an expired handicap parking pass that was issued to a senior citizen.  Apparently he did this knowing that the city does not tow away disabled persons vehicles no matter where they are parked.  After the local newspaper ran a story on the event the mayor promptly fired the parking chief.  Atleast some people get what is coming to them.
